As well as the other products that they've released today, VMware have managed to pump out View 5. This might explain in part the number of View / Desktop focused sessions at VMworld Europe next month. Next week VMware are running a couple of Webex sessions that will take a deep-dive look into VMware View. It's a partner only event so you need to be registered in Partner Central. VMware View 4.0.1 is a maintenance release that adds a small number of features / enhancements: Localisation of the View client in a number of languages including French and German. Support for vCenter 2.5 Update 6 and ESX 3.5 Update 5 PCoIP now supports Virtual Printing, a couple of Single Sign-On Providers and International keyboards. There are a few bug fixes included also.
